Professor Wang Ying graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1992. Since 2001, he has been working and lecturing in the United Kingdom.
He currently serves as:
• Professor of Acupuncture at the UK College of Chinese Medicine;
• Visiting Clinical Expert at the Swiss University of Traditional Chinese Medicine;
• Consultant for the French Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine;
• Technical Advisor for the Brazilian TCM Development Base;
• Executive Vice President of the Overseas Alumni Association of Shandong University of TCM;
• and one of the first specially appointed clinical experts of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
He is also a presenter for the 16th “Treasure hunting in the Apricot wood school ” event at the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and serves as a clinical mentor there.
Building upon the abdominal diagnosis principles found in the Classic of Difficulties (《难经》), Professor Wang has drawn on the strengths of multiple traditions to develop and refine a comprehensive Abdominal Diagnosis–Guided Acupuncture System. His system integrates diagnostic precision with therapeutic efficacy, making acupuncture treatment more standardised, reproducible, and clinically verifiable.
He is also renowned for his mastery of the “Heating and Cooling Needle Techniques” (制热针法与制凉针法), which are easier to perform and more controllable than the traditional “Burning Mountain Fire” and “Penetrating Heaven Coolness” methods—while achieving more distinct thermal effects.
At present, Professor Wang is devoted to the global promotion of abdominal diagnosis–based acupuncture, where his teachings and clinical methods have earned widespread acclaim from students and practitioners worldwide.

王迎，1992年毕业于山东中医药大学，自2001年开始到英国工作讲学至今。
现任英国中医学院针灸学教授，瑞士中医药大学特聘临床专家，法国中医协会顾问，巴西中医药基地特聘技术顾问，山东中医药大学海外校友会常务副会长等职务。并且是北京中医药大学第一批特聘临床专家。广东省中医院第十六届杏林寻宝活动献宝人。广东省中医医院指导老师
他在继承难经腹诊的基础上博采众家之长，完善了腹诊针灸诊疗体系，让针灸临床诊疗验有机地融为一体，让针灸诊疗更加标准化和精准化。另外还特别擅长制热制凉针法，该操作方法比传统的烧山火透天凉针法更容易做出凉热的效果。
他目前致力于在世界范围内传播腹诊针灸，获得了广大学员们的好评。
